Cyber Superstars off to Regional Finals!
More good news from our Computer Science department!
Four of our extremely talented, female Year 8 pupils are heading off to the Regional Finals of the CyberFirst Girls Competition (part of GCHQ). Helena Haile, Sachi Patel, Kirsten Ulph, Isabella Young and Maya Dhiraj all excelled in the problem-solving challenges that included Networking, Encryption, and Programming, and will be heading for the finals in early-2023.
In order to prepare for the Regional Finals, our all-female digital leaders team will be helping the students prepare for the challenges ahead during lunchtimes.
12 schools from the region will meet on Saturday 4th February 2023 for the final.
