Dear Families
As we approach the end of another successful half term, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements and positive experiences that our students have had over the past few months.
Firstly, I would like to commend our Year 11 students for their outstanding attitude and commitment during their PPEs. They have made a great start and their determination and hard work have been truly impressive, it is great preparation for them for the real exams which are approximately 42 days away!
In addition, we have had the pleasure of hosting visits from KS5 providers and apprenticeships for our Year 9 and 10 students over this half term. These opportunities have allowed our students to explore potential career paths and gain valuable insights into their future options.
Our students have displayed positive attitudes and a strong work ethic throughout the term, resulting in numerous rewards being given out. It is truly heartening to see their dedication and commitment being recognised and rewarded. In excess of 17000 reward points have been issued since we returned in the New Year.
Furthermore, I would like to update you on the success of our decision to move tutor time to the start of the day. This change has proven to be highly effective, allowing students to begin their day with their tutor has resulted in positive feedback from both students and staff, and we believe that this adjustment will continue to enhance our students' learning experiences and set them up for the day.
Please note that the first day back after the break will be Monday, 26th February 2024. We kindly request that you ensure your child is ready and prepared for the start of the new term. I would like to remind everyone to visit our website to ensure that your child's uniform is in order for the start of the new term. Our website provides all the necessary information and guidelines to ensure that our students are dressed appropriately, avoid sanctions and are ready for the upcoming term. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a restful and enjoyable break.
With the very best of wishes
