Governance
Strong governance is a key part of a successful school. Our Governors provide good support and challenge for senior leaders. They are knowledgeable about educational issues and have a breadth of skills and experience, including financial expertise.
The local governing body and the trustees of the MAT work well together to support and challenge the school. They make sure that leaders use school resources well.

Our Governors have a good understanding of the school and its current priorities, including the national benchmarks for school achievement and have a good understanding of how well all groups of students are achieving in the school.
Governors have a clear vision, which helps to focus the school’s strategic direction, including the development of the curriculum. They are determined that the school will be the secondary school of choice in the local community.
