The students went to a lecture theatre where they were spoken to by a qualified GP who explained the role of a GP and also spoke about the different routes in getting into medicine.

They then took part in interactive workshops where they were able to work with doctors in analysing different case studies. 

The students were also given a tour of the university.  

Overall the day was really positive, and the students were each given a certificate for partaking in the day from the university.
