This is part of our on-going collaboration with Zeph’s to help to spread awareness, of the small steps we can take within our community, to make life a little easier for those struggling with Dementia. Students gained an understanding of how memories can be scrambled in our brains and cause confusion. They went through how the usually simple steps of making a cup of tea, can cause distress for someone who finds it difficult to remember where things are in the kitchen for example; and how simple labels can enable a sufferer to remain as independent as possible.
