Manor High Christmas Concert

On Tuesday 10th December Manor High School performed an amazing concert to a packed-hall.

Our students and Performing Arts department excelled themselves with a festive feast of music, song and dance. There was a wide-range of skills on show all with a Christmas theme. A Christmas Mastermind staged by our drama students was threaded through the evening, punctuating impressive performances by the school orchestra and the school band, Done and Dusted; superb singing by our choirs, Pitch Perfect and Manor Voices; and well-choreographed dance routines performed by members of our Dance Club.

As well as entertaining parents and community members at night, our local primary schools were also able to enjoy a taster of the concert during the afternoon. Students from our sister schools Brookside, Woodland Grange and Overdale Juniors came to see the final dress rehearsal. We were touched to receive handwritten thank you letters and cards, which have all been passed onto our Performing Arts department.

A huge congratulations to all who participated, both on stage and behind the scenes. We can’t wait for next year!

A wonderful event - to see so many different performing arts showcased was gob smacking! Thank you to all the performers and all the hard-working staff enabling them (including the samosa-serving Friends) for a great evening.
