Keeping Active at Home with PE

We may all be staying home and staying safe, but Manor High students are also staying active!

Mr Powell helping out with a PE challengeAll students have also been engaging with the Manor High PE department on social media through our weekly videos. Students have had a go at our workout challenge. Huge thanks for our guest star, Head Teacher Mr Powell.

We are sharing all our activities on our Twitter account (@ManorHighPE). There are a number of videos to watch, have a look to see some of the gems that you can enjoy such as our Trick Shots challenge by both the PE staff and staff and students

We’ve loved seeing students and staff attempting their own trick shots as part of our trick shot challenge. Some fantastic and creative attempts! Feel free to keeping sending me your videos (none will be posted online without parental permission): jflax@manorhigh.leics.sch.uk.

Pupils were also challenged to create their own workout that they could then complete. Well done to those who completed all challenges!

Some excellent work from some of our Year 7 students, who sent in their workouts, well done!

Key Stage 4 (GCSE)

GCSE PE Students have been working hard on their coursework component of the course during lockdown, lots of excellent pieces of work are being produced. No pictures though as it is top secret stuff!!

They have also been engaging in plenty of revision tasks involving parents as well. Check out the photo below of one of our student’s revision work using resources sent home.
