On Thursday 11th February, we secured all Year 9, 10 and 11 students with an opportunity to watch a live read through of Macbeth. 

Joe Lycett, the famous comedian and television presenter, starred as the Porter in this read through, along with other famous faces. Pearl Mackie, who plays Bill Potts in Doctor Who, and Remmie Milner, known for her role in the TV series adaption of His Dark Materials, also participated. 

It was followed by an interactive Q&A session afterwards, which benefited all GCSE English and Drama students. Hearing the text read out loud by talented performers brought it to life, helping our students to further engage.
